Getting here by car, bus, train or plane
Arriving by car coming from Munich: toll-free route via Siegsdorf – Lofer – Saalfelden – Maria Alm.
Arriving by car coming from Vienna: via Salzburg – Lofer – Saalfelden – Maria Alm. Alternative: Salzburg – Bischofshofen – Dienten – Maria Alm.
The nearest international railway station is in Zell am See (around 20 kilometres from Maria Alm). There is also a railway station in Saalfelden (around 7 kilometres from our hotel). Guests arriving by train can take a bus or taxi from the station to Maria Alm. The following websites can be used to book train journeys quickly and easily: Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) or German Railways (DB).
Free public transport from all over Salzburg
With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can enjoy free travel on all public transport throughout the entire federal state of Salzburg. The ticket is automatically provided to you from your first overnight stay (either digitally on your smartphone or as a printed copy) and is valid for the entire duration of your stay, including the day of arrival and departure.
With the ticket, you can use all trains, buses, and the Pinzgau Local Railway free of charge. The only exceptions are steam and special trains as well as night bus services.

The W.A. Mozart airport in Salzburg is served by many international airlines and lies approximately 70 km from our hotel in Maria Alm. Munich airport is around 200 km from our hotel. The journey from the airport to Maria Alm can be completed by train, bus, airport shuttle or rental car.
