Skiers and snowboarders can look forward to 120 km of pistes in the Hochkönig ski resort, served by 33 lifts and cable cars. From draglifts to modern chairlifts, gondolas to cable cars: wintersports enthusiasts will find a wide range of transport options.
The Dorfjet Natrun cable car giving access to the resort is just a few metres from the Hotel Niederreiter and whisks guests up into the heart of the resort in just a few minutes. Ready, steady ... ski!
Mountain Huts

Skiing wouldn't be skiing without stopping off for lunch at a traditional mountain hut.
There are countless wooden chalets next to the pistes in the Hochkönig resort, all of which serve delicious homemade food. Indeed, the resort is known across Austria as one of the leading locations for vegan food. Almost all huts have vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.
The hardest decision is where to go first! A trendy hut with chilled out lounge music? A traditional wooden chalet? Or how about a spot out on the terrace sipping a cool drink as the sun goes down?
