Hotel Gasthof Niederreiter is a family-run 3-star superior hotel in the centre of Maria Alm am Hochkönig. On this page, you will find answers to the questions our guests ask most frequently before and during their stay.

Hotel Gasthof Niederreiter is a family-run 3-star superior hotel in the centre of Maria Alm am Hochkönig in the Salzburg region. What makes it special is the combination of location and cuisine: the hotel is located directly opposite the valley station of the Natrun cable car, with direct access to the slopes. Added to this are an à-la-carte restaurant, an in-house café and pastry shop with homemade cakes, strudels and ice cream, as well as a wellness area with saunas, a steam bath and whirlpool.

Hotel Niederreiter is particularly well suited to: skiers who want to access the Hochkönig ski area directly without using a car in the morning; families looking for an uncomplicated active holiday in the mountains; hikers and bikers who want to explore the alpine pastures around Maria Alm in summer; as well as guests who value a personally run family business with its own kitchen and pastry shop rather than an anonymous large hotel.

Access to the ski area is immediate: the valley station of the Natrun cable car is located directly opposite the hotel. Skis and ski boots can be stored in the hotel's own ski room, where each room has its own lockable locker with ski boot heating.

In Austria, the 3-star superior category refers to a property that clearly exceeds the requirements of the 3-star classification without meeting the criteria for 4 stars in every respect. At Hotel Niederreiter in Maria Alm, this is reflected, among other things, in the wellness area, the room facilities and the gastronomic offering with its own restaurant and in-house pastry shop.

Hotel Gasthof Niederreiter is located in Maria Alm directly opposite the valley station of the Natrun cable car. It is only a few steps from the hotel entrance to the access point to the Hochkönig ski area – there is no need to take a ski bus.
